Influential rock band Television is considered one of the forefathers of punk and alternative rock music. Musically accomplished, its unique, often delicate approach to guitar playing influenced almost every guitar-based band in the post-punk era.
After just two legendary albums, Television disbanded in 1978, and it was in this final year that this concert in Long Island was broadcast by WLIR-FM radio.
