Test Pressing for the 2016rUK/EU audiophile issue of the 1971 6-track LP onr
180gram Vinyl, remastered from the originalranalogue tapes by Bob Ludwig, with plain white labels &rmatrix detail etched by hand inthe run-outs. This was SirrElton’s first live album featuring a collection of tracksrrecorded at A&R Recording Studios, New York on 17thrNovember 1970 for a radio broadcast on WABC-FM [laterrWPLJ]. The vinyl is Near Mint & comes housed in a plainrdie-cut card sleeve with the artist & album title annotation &rengineer log dates. Interestingly, this very early test pressingrhas been annotated ‘Not Approved’. Only a small selectrhandful of these would have been produced, purely to test thersonics & never to be sold to the general public this way. Arsuperb ex-industry find)
